This Privacy Policy explains how Nur Hersi ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the Amino mobile application and related services (the "Services").

By using Amino, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly, information generated through your use of the Services, and information from integrated third-party sources you authorize.

Information you provide directly

  • Account information: email address, password (stored as a hashed value), and display name.

  • Protocol and dose data: compounds you log, dose amounts, schedules, vial inventory, reconstitution details, and injection sites.

  • Health data you enter: bloodwork values, wellness check-ins (energy, mood, libido, sleep quality), side effects, weight, and progress photos.

  • Communications: information you provide when contacting support.

Information collected automatically

  • Device information: device type, operating system version, app version, and language preference.

  • Usage data: features accessed, sessions, and approximate frequency of use.

  • Crash and diagnostic data: technical information about errors or unexpected behavior in the app.

Information from third-party integrations

If you connect Apple Health or other supported integrations, we may receive: workout data, activity metrics, heart rate data, sleep data, and other metrics you choose to sync. You control which data types are shared via the relevant third-party permissions.

Sensitive personal information

The information you record in Amino, including bloodwork values, peptide and GLP-1 protocol details, and other health-related entries, may constitute sensitive personal information under privacy laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), the European Union's General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and similar laws. We process this information solely to provide the Services to you and to fulfill the purposes described in this Policy. We do not sell this information, do not use it for advertising, and do not share it with third parties for any purpose other than the limited service-provider relationships described in Section 4.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Provide, operate, and maintain the Services.

  • Personalize your experience, including computing adherence statistics, pharmacokinetic concentration estimates, and trend visualizations based on your data.

  • Power AI-assisted features such as bloodwork analysis and symptom correlation suggestions, using only the data you have entered into the app.

  • Process subscription transactions through Apple's App Store.

  • Communicate with you about your account, subscription, and product updates.

  • Investigate and prevent fraud, abuse, or violations of our Terms of Service.

  • Comply with legal obligations.

We do not use your information for advertising. We do not sell your information.

3. AI-Powered Features

Some Amino features use third-party artificial intelligence services to process information you have entered into the app. These features include AI-assisted bloodwork analysis, symptom correlation suggestions, and the AI assistant chat.

When you use these features, the relevant data you have entered (such as bloodwork values, symptom notes, or your questions to the AI assistant) is sent to our AI service provider for processing. The AI service provider processes this data only to return a response to your request and does not retain it for training purposes.

AI-generated content is provided for informational and educational purposes only. It is not medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult a qualified healthcare provider for medical decisions.

4. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as described below.

Service providers (data processors)

We share information with the following service providers who process data on our behalf, subject to contractual confidentiality and data protection obligations:

  • Supabase — hosting and database infrastructure. Stores your account data, protocols, dose logs, bloodwork entries, and other application data in secure cloud databases.

  • Anthropic — AI processing services. Processes specific data you submit to AI-powered features (bloodwork analysis, AI assistant chat) to generate responses.

  • Apple — App Store and StoreKit services for subscription management. Apple processes payment information directly; we do not see or store your payment details.

Legal requirements

We may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, court order, or other legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of us, our users, or others.

Business transfers

If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you and provide an opportunity to delete your account before such a transfer takes effect.

5. Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Services. When you delete your account, we delete your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required for legal, accounting, or fraud-prevention purposes.

You may delete your account at any time from within the Amino app or by emailing privacy@aminotracker.com.

6. Data Security

We use industry-standard technical and organizational safeguards to protect your information, including:

  • Encryption of data in transit (HTTPS/TLS).

  • Encryption of data at rest in our database infrastructure.

  • Row-level security policies that restrict access to data based on user identity.

  • Regular review of access controls and security practices.

No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal information:

  • Access — request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.

  • Correction — request that we correct inaccurate or incomplete information.

  • Deletion — request that we delete your personal information.

  • Portability — request a copy of your data in a portable format.

  • Restriction — request that we limit how we process your data.

  • Objection — object to certain processing activities.

  • Withdraw consent — where processing is based on consent, withdraw it at any time.

California residents

Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), California residents have additional rights, including the right to know what personal information we collect and how it is used, the right to delete personal information, and the right to opt out of any sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell or share your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

8. Children's Privacy

Amino is not intended for individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, contact privacy@aminotracker.com and we will delete it.

9. International Users

Amino is operated from the United States. If you access the Services from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to, stored in, and processed in the United States or other jurisdictions where our service providers operate. By using the Services, you consent to such transfers.

10. Third-Party Services and Links

Amino may contain links to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties. Review their privacy policies before providing any information.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this Policy and, if changes are material, provide notice through the app or by email. Continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
